Sizes of Different Places

I was wondering about the sizes of different places, so my mom, my brother and I found some stuff on the computer, and we decided to put it on my blog, even though it's not about Legos.

Which is bigger, Minnesota or Ireland?

Minnesota:
86, 943 sq mi
5, 344,861 people
Ireland:
31, 521 sq mi
4,481,430 people

Minnesota is bigger. Ireland is less than half the size of Minnesota but there's almost as many people. Ireland is about the same size as Indiana.

How about California or England?

California:
163,696 sq mi
37,691,912 people
England:
50, 346 sq mi
51,456,400 people

California is way bigger in size, but less in people.

Washington and Italy?

Washington:
71,362 sq mi
6,830,038 people
Italy:
116,347 sq mi
60,626,442 people

Italy is bigger in both size and people.

New York and Scotland?

New York:
54,556 sq mi
19,465,197 people
Scotland:
30,414 sq mi
5,222,100 people

New York is bigger in both size and people. Scotland has almost the same amount of people as Minnesota.

New Mexico and Norway?

New Mexico:
121,697 sq mi
2,082,224 people
Norway:
148,747 sq mi
4,889,000 people

They are almost the same size, but Norway has double the amount of people.

Iowa and Sweden?

Iowa:
56,272 sq mi
3,062,309 people
Sweden:
173,732 sq mi
9,378,000 people

Sweden is about 3 times bigger than Iowa in both size and people.

From my list, here they are biggest to smallest.
